We have come a long way! Do you remember the FAX machine? Actually, they are still out there, just not as prevalent as they were in the 90s. I remember when they first came out. I was watching a show on TV that showed how you could put a document in on one side and have it come out across town on another "FAX" (aka Facsimile machine). I thought, Why? Well, as we all know, that technology is quite old and antiquated.
So what other tech tools have fallen to the wayside? So many. Look at the progression of our Televisions. What used to be a piece of furniture adorning our living room corners, are now hanging on walls in every room in the house, and offices!
Then we have our speed of phones and computers, 2G, 3G, 4G and now we have 5G. 3G is SLOW. Did I mention Dial-Up? Oh my, that is unheard of. How about the Blackberry? Blackberry is now obsolete. That used to be the handset software of choice. Oh, the Pager! Ha ha, I just keep thinking of all these items that use to be technology we couldn't live without.
These are just a few items that come to mind. And the future is changing faster than we can keep up with. What does your future hold? Keeping up with it can be a full-time endeavor.
